The man has temporaily brought us down. not only did we have the hoildays to stress over, but sean and i have also been busy talking to people about getting everything straight with The Basement. our last show on Dec. 20th was kick ass but also brought the cops to our door for "the last time".. the two main cops that we have dealt with have been pretty lassie-faire about The Basement. They like the idea and as long as there are no big complaints then they would literally come down to see if things were going ok. it has gotten to the point they say "where you need to get a permit, because if my superviosr comes down and sees what is going on here, then you'll get arrested, and i'll get shit as well for not shutting this place down myself" they told sean on the 20th if there was to be another show at any given point and they came down and we didn't have a permit they place would be closed down and sean would be put in jail... for how long no one knows. thing is we really want to do this the right way so that The Basement won't get shut down like ever other venue that has opened up in this area. We've been talking/fighting because we were supposed to have a show sunday dec. 28th.. but it will be a no go. sorry for any inconviences this may have caused. we will keep you updated with the upcoming shows and what is happening with The Basement.
